FAQ's

Are there income guidelines to participate in your services?
There are no income guidelines for participating in the services we provide through the Pregnancy and Parenting Resource Center or the BABE program.  All we ask is that you complete some basic information so that we can assess your needs and provide you any other referrals or information that might help. If you wish to enroll your child in the Teen Parent Early Learning Center at the weekly reduced rate, you must be a high school or college student and be on the waiting list for the CANI Childcare Assistance Program.

I need a pregnancy test but I can’t afford to buy one.  Are your pregnancy tests free?
Yes, our pregnancy tests are free.  In fact, all of the pregnancy services we offer are free of charge.

What do I need to bring with me to get a free pregnancy test?
You don’t need to bring anything unless you will need a proof letter to apply for Medicaid.  You will be asked to fill out a sheet with your basic information on it. If you need a proof letter to apply for Medicaid, we will need photo identification before a letter is provided.

I have BABE vouchers; what do I need to do to spend them?
Just come in any time the BABE Store is open!  You can spend your BABE vouchers on anything you need for the care of your children.  We can also provide you with a list of physicians and other services in the community who give out BABE vouchers.

How can I get more BABE vouchers?
You can make an appointment and come one time a week to PPRC for educational opportunities to earn BABE vouchers.  If you bring your parent or partner with you, you will earn an extra voucher.

Do my BABE vouchers expire?
No, BABE vouchers never expire.

I have BABE vouchers from another county.  Can I use them in your BABE Store?
BABE of Noble County only accepts vouchers from Noble County.  We do not take vouchers from other counties.
